😎 Your future position :

As a VP Finance, your primary responsibility will be developing and managing a world-class global financial planning and analysis organization with a strong business partnering and strategic prism. You will lead the team through all aspects of the planning processes and provide strategic insight and recommendations to the business on its financial performance, focusing on KPIs, trends, and analytics to help meet the company’s long-term growth and financial plans. You will develop a team focused on the forward looking vs. backward looking.

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead our FP&A teams, leading all short and long-range financial planning, analysis and target setting, while partnering with our various business units. Your objective is to partner and plan with the business to drive the right decisions through actionable insights/analysis. This role will have a close working relationship with the CFO, plus significant exposure to other C-Level executives. The ideal candidate is a strong leader experienced in building and growing teams and passionate about fostering strong business partner relationshipsThis is a highly strategic and visible role that will help significantly shape the next chapter of development at Swile.

Your missions will be :

  • Interact with Swile leadership team and serve as a thought leader in helping to shape the financial framework for our various business unites (sales, marketing, product…) as well as other related strategic growth areas
  • Build and develop easily understandable frameworks for translating strategy into measurable financial reporting and decision making process
  • Ensure financial models reflect an aligned approach to Swile organization and strategy
  • Improve the forecasting accuracy, agility and process through new analytics, increased automation, and process optimization
  • Help the company effectively and efficiently allocate financial resources and make sound decisions to support growth while mitigating risk exposure
  • Deliver in a timely manner analysis and reporting of the business’ financial results including variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks, and business drivers are understood and highlighted
  • Manage, encourage, develop and continue to grow a high-performing team that is able to support Swile in the next steps of its journey
  • Closely collaborate with our accounting team to ensure we have best-in-class processes around close and financial reporting and eliminate potential residual errors
  • Champion technology and innovation within Swile Finance team
  • Partner closely with the CFO to build and develop the broader Finance team into a world-class organization

🥇Your future team :

  • You will be a part of a team of almost 25 amazing people in the Finance Department.
  • You will be a member of the Finance leadership team and your direct report will be William (our Chief Finance Officer).
  • As a manager, you will manage a team of 4 People (FP&A Team)

Preferred experience

✨It will be a perfect match if :

  • Extensive experience building, leading and developing the FP&A function in both private and public companies; the ideal candidate will have held progressively senior FP&A or Divisional CFO type roles
  • 15+ years of experience working in high growth environments focused preferably in SAAS or FinTech companies
  • Sales and business partnership strategic finance experience required (i.e. B2B environment)
  • Proven track record of developing people, leading and managing high-performing teams
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience in cultivating collaborative working relationships with teams across an organization. Track record of close partnership with C-suite/senior-level executives, influencing business
  • Forward-thinking, analytical and problem-solving mindset. Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with experience partnering with data analytics
  • Keen interest in technology, automation and continuous process improvement
