Our newly launched Procurement function will play a key role in supporting Stuart scale and grow 🎢🚀

We are looking for an innovative Procurement Lead to own our procurement function, reporting to our Global Head of Accounting & Finance. You will be the first hire in Procurement and will spearhead the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimisation, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes.

You will be a supply chain and logistics expert who will specialise in implementing cost-effective purchases of all goods and services. Ensuring quality control and adhering to the company’s policies and procedures on supply chain management will be some of your main priorities 💪

What will I be doing? 🤔

  • Implementing and managing a new procurement management tool (Coupa P2P)
  • Developing procurement strategies that are inventive and cost-effective
  • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors - build the culture inside Stuart
  • Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms
  • Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Performing risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements
  • Controlling the procurement budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving
  • Preparing procurement KPI reports
  • What do we need from you? 😎

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration
  • Proven experience managing supply chain operations
  • Experience using supply chain management software and tools, Coupa would be a plus
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing and negotiation 
  • Strong negotiation and relationship skills
  • Time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
