Job description

Let's talk about Legal ⭐️

Our team's mission is to provide close support to all teams to seize opportunities and secure the business. We play a vital role in the growth of the company which creates apps, and algorithms and produces innovation and efficiencies in a highly competitive market. We advise a variety of stakeholders and make magic in drafting and negotiating strategic contracts, reviewing operations, and launching new countries. Working with us means being smart, creative, and humble to find solutions while remaining compliant. As Stuart grows, the Legal Team grows, which means that there is a lot of room for career development! 💫 Your future manager, Michael Kefi (Head of Legal) will help you make it possible.

What will I be doing? 🤔

  • You will work for the French market.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review numerous types of agreements including services, freight forwarding, fleet partner, licensing, partnership, and confidentiality agreements.
  • Update and maintain our Terms and Conditions and template agreements library.
  • Draft, negotiate, and review vendor agreements with suppliers.
  • Support the Commercial teams in answering RFPs.
  • Provide practical legal advice to various teams, balancing business objectives and legal risk.
  • Liaise with external lawyers on specific legal issues.
  • On top of this, if you think other areas are useful for our business and want to grow and learn in these areas, we are always willing to improve!
  • What do we need from you? 😎

  • Master in French law.
  • 3 + years of experience as a legal counsel either in-house or in a law firm.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills with a strong commercial sense of risk & reward.
  • High degree of independence, self-starter, organized, ability to prioritize.
  • Some background in French transportation law is a plus.
