The position

Job description

As the new Strapi brand designer, you will be involved in the creation of new web pages, article illustrations, and marketing campaign promotion whilst adhering to and participating in Strapi’s evolving Brand Guidelines.

You will work closely with the Lead Brand Designer, project manager, and other marketing team members to put to life new projects, concepts, and ideas.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent visual design skills, a good understanding of typography & layout, and be proficient in graphic design software such as Figma or Sketch.

This internship is paid, remote-only, with limited access to the Paris headquarters due to COVID, and for a minimum of 6 months.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualizing creative ideas.
  • Testing and improving the design of the website.
  • Help to establish design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
  • Maintaining the appearance of the website by enforcing content standards.
  • Designing visual illustration and imagery for websites and marketing promotions while ensuring that they are in line with the company branding.
  • Working with a component-based content management system.
  • Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
  • Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.

  • A relevant diploma in a related field and portfolio showcasing your works.
  • Strong graphic design skills, with a good understanding of typography, and intuitive layout.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
  • Good understanding of content management systems.
  • Creative and open to new ideas.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Skills in motion design & animations is a plus
