The role

  • As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, your mission will be to help the Platform team to support the fast growth of the company by removing the friction of application deployment in the engineering department.
  • You will contribute to provide software developers with all the necessary tools, processes and good practices to push an application into production with the right level of automation, monitoring, scalability, security and efficiency.
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Build a robust & scalable platform to host Spendesk services coming from the engineering teams.
  • Provide the tools and share good practices to ensure the good health of our infrastructure and services.
  • Smooth out the developer experience from local environments all the way up to production.
  • What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in the SRE, Production or Systems Engineering fields
  • Demonstrated track record of working with distributed systems
  • Strong experience on building and maintaining a Kubernetes based platform
  • Experience with major cloud providers (preferably on AWS)
  • Experience with Infrastructure and application instrumentation, defining and tracking SLOs and SLAs
  • Good knowledge in coding/scripting (NodeJS, Go, Python, Bash...) and config/automation frameworks (Terraform, Kustomize...)
  • Willing to share knowledge with your peers and communicate regularly about project updates
  • Fluent in written and spoken English - it is our business language
