We are looking for an After Sales Engineer to ensure the maintenance, troubleshooting and commissioning of our Socomec UPS product range on customer sites. You will also contribute to telephone support, activity reporting, and sales feedback when opportunities are identified during interventions.
Key responsibilities
Product commissioning
- Deploy solutions/products on site following installation and commissioning procedures
- Configure parameters to match the customer environment
- Ensure communication with existing equipment, test/validate performance, and deliver first-level customer training
Preventive maintenance
- Perform scheduled maintenance, replace parts, and write mission reports
Corrective maintenance
- Troubleshoot installed products, complete diagnoses, and carry out repairs
Customer reporting & relationship
- Produce intervention reports to company standards, share recommendations, provide usage guidance
- Maintain strong customer relationships and escalate conflicts when needed
- Capture customer needs and share them with internal teams
Safety compliance
- Ensure PPE is compliant and apply both company and customer-site safety rules
Data updates
- Update intervention data in real time in databases/ERP tools
Profile & qualifications
- Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering
- First experience in UPS maintenance is strongly wished
- Technical skills: electrical/electrotechnical, inverters; preventive & corrective maintenance; familiarity with Socomec-type products is a plus
- Soft skills: strong organization, rigor, customer orientation, listening skills, autonomy
- Languages: Dutch and English, French is a plus
