Michael began his career in the banking sector. He was frustrated by the tools he had to work with which weren't efficient enough. Passioned by real estate, he decided to launch Smovin in 2016 with the goal to create a platform to help real estate managers in their daily tasks. Michael wanted to offer a simple but effective and at the same time fun tool. This very well sums up the values of the company. Transparency, simplicity and autonomy are the credo of the start-up. "Work seriously but don't take yourself too seriously" is a phrase often heard in Smovin's offices.

Eva joined Smovin in May 2020 as Full-Stack Developer. After having worked for a long time in communication, Eva followed her dream and took a turn in her career to switch to coding. She enjoys being able to combine her communication expertise with her new technical skills. Eva works both on the front and back end of the tool with a focus on developing new features and continuously improving the platform to ensure user satisfaction.

After several years working as a civil engineer in Belgium and abroad, Alexis finally decided to turn to entrepreneurship. He then joined Smovin as co-founder in charge of taking over and in charge of internalizing the startup's IT development. His team currently consists of 4 full-stack developers with perfect gender parity.

Maïté has a background in Communication and Marketing Management. After working for 3 years in South Africa for a social business incubator, she joined Smovin in 2020 to take the lead of Marketing. The challenge is there and so much the better! She ensures the company's good positioning and implements various digital marketing strategies aimed at acquiring new customers. This includes SEA and SEO optimisation, marketing content production and community engagement on social networks. His greatest pleasure at Smovin? The initiative, trust and jogging with colleagues during lunchtime in the woods!

With a degree in Marketing and Business, Jim started working at AproPLAN and then launched Smovin with Michael in 2016. Passioned by new technologies and ecology, Jim is in charge of the sales team and aims by giving his team all the keys for success, both when it comes to sales and solving any issues clients may have. On the other hand, he is also in charge of finding new opportunities in Belgium and on international markets. His team currently comprises 3 people (1 sales person and 2 support staff), and plans to grow further very quickly ;-).

Smovin is a digital platform that optimizes real estate management tasks. Founded in March 2016 by Michael, Jim and Alexis, the app has quickly found a place in the sun in the Belgian market. The users appreciate it for its user-friendly interface, professionalism and dynamic startup mentality. Smovin is used by hundreds of property owners and real estate managers with already 10.000 properties registered on the platform.

Thanks to a fundraising in January 2020, Smovin keeps feeding its ambitions and has managed to grow from 7 to 15 employees during lockdown #notscared. And of course, they won't stop here!

Already active in Belgium it is only a matter of months before the company crosses borders to conquer the French market!
