We are looking for a Sales Executive based in our Madrid office to lead the sales activities in the Spanish market.

Your mission

Reporting to the Head of business development in Southern Europe, you will have a position in the commercial team, driving the Go-to-Market/Revenue Generation in Spain.
Your mission is to:

  1. Collaborate with the GTM and strategy execution in Spain
  2. Manage directly our clients portfolio
  3. Drive new business opportunities, building the pipeline and managing the entire sales cycle

Your main responsibilities

Strategic topics:

  • Collaborate in the execution of the GTM in Spain with the leadership team, SDR (Sales Development Representatives) and marketing teams.
  • Represent SlimPay at industry events and activities in Spain
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product, engineering, marketing, partnership and legal.
  • Influence and communicate market trends and value added capabilities to product team

New business:

  • Identify sales opportunities based on market trends and prospect needs
  • Approach prospects, generating new opportunities in key verticals such as insurance, financial services, utilities, media, , among others
  • Work closely with Marketing, SDR and partnership teams to close opportunities
  • Manage the entire sales cycle in particular assessment of needs, proposal, negotiations and contract signature.

Account management:

  • Be the go-to person for your existing clients supporting them with their business needs, taking responsibility for both the details and the big picture
  • Boost your clients growth through proactive advisory on SlimPay´s products and services
  • Work closely with Slimpay Product team to bring insights on new features required by, helping to build a strong relationships with your clients

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience on commercial roles (ideally within the payment/fintech industry)
  • You are a strategic negotiator and strong communicator
  • You master consultative approach to sales
  • Strong end-to-end understanding of the customer cycle from first touchpoint to closed deals.
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with CRMs (Salesforce preferred).
  • “Hunter” approach to finding prospects and with natural talent for closing deals
  • Strong interest and knowledge of e-commerce sector
  • Desire to work in an innovative and disruptive market
  • Strong ability to seamlessly adapt to a team-spirit mindset
  • Eagerness to take on technical subjects
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and oral) is a must
