The position

Context
Singulart is growing super fast (50 to 120 employees in the next 12 months) and you will take over all Administrative and Financial Responsibilities of one of the co-founder.

Your mission

Lead all financial topics as an executive team member, with responsibility for the company’s financial health. By combining operational and strategic roles, you will manage accounting and financial control functions and establish a financial strategy for the profitable long-term growth of the business.

What you’ll work on:

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Coordinate financial planning (budget) and rolling forecasts
  • Proactively ascertain deviations to the forecast and suggest counter measures
  • Lead the FP&A efforts to discover, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets to perform strategic analysis and support decision making
  • Partner with department Directors to help set the strategic directions of each market/department

Financial and Administrative Processes

  • Setup and optimize financial and administrative processes of a “scale-up”
  • Manage and optimize all financial transactions of our marketplace (artists and client payments)
  • Optimize currency management
  • Liaise with auditors, tax authority and banks to ensure that policies, procedures, standards of performance and compliance are adhered
  • Ensure that the company complies with regulatory requirements, notably as a marketplace
  • Manage the Accounting & Tax
  • Manageand optimize Cash Flow
  • Control Salaries management
  • Manage juridicial topics

Who you’ll work with:

You’ll report directly to Singulart Co-founder.


Preferred experience

  • Between 8 years and 10 years of experience, including full management of a Finance function
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing start-up environment
  • Experience in international companies
  • Hands-on person able to dive into accounting, tax & reporting issues
  • Advanced complex financial modelling and analytical skills
  • Strong and proven management skills
  • Fluent French and English
  • Critical Thinking – strategic and highly analytical
