  • Our greatest strength? Our people!
Our greatest strength? Our people!

Our greatest strength? Our people!

Today, SINGULART’s team is made up of 100 people who represent 24 nationalities, which makes for a wonderfully international atmosphere! It is thanks to this diversity that we grow, reflect and move forward.

At SINGULART, we appreciate everyone’s diverse perspectives. Through our difference we are enriched as a team and continue to learn from each other.

  • What defines us? Curiosity

Some concrete examples that illustrate our desire to learn more and more:

    • Side Projects: to understand how a company works, it is best to take an interest in the work of others. That's why we created side projects. What exactly are side projects? In agreement with your manager, you can work on subjects that interest you but are not necessarily part of your scope of work. The aim of these is to develop new ideas and help each other, so 20% of your time will be dedicated to this!

    • Weekly events: in order to meet everyone at our growing company, we implemented a weekly coffee meeting. Every Thursday you are paired with someone from SINGULART (at random). This is a time to learn more about each other. If you feel like it, you can also talk about processes and work but we encourage connecting on things outside of work!

    • The Friday ritual: “Breakfast For Thought”, this is a time when we all get together for breakfast (online during lockdown). We always start with 3 presentations on topics chosen by and presented by members of the team. It's a time to talk about your favorite rap group, the book that changed your life or perhaps the secret life of the oceans. Yes, we also talk about business figures, targets and issues, but above all it's a time for exchange where all questions can be asked. We find that old-fashioned top-down communication isn't really our cup of tea (or coffee). What’s the aim? To encourage ideas and promote initiatives.

3. Onboarding

If you are selected to join the team (#joy), then your onboarding begins. Your first few days are organized so that you can meet the different members of your team as well as the other people at SINGULART in order to have a 360° view of the company. You will also attend various training sessions in order to develop your skills and your understanding of our business. At SINGULART, we never stop learning and we encourage new ideas so don't hesitate to share them!

We also like to arrange more informal moments to create and maintain our team spirit. Our challenge today is to do that in the current health context. For this, we can count on the help and endless ideas of our super (sometimes digital) Office Manager, Bazia. She organizes our endless events and opportunities. Do you like to read? We offer a Book Club. Do you like to cook? We organize online workshops. Are you a yogi? We get together to practice. In short, there is something for everyone at SINGULART. The important thing is to be together, even from a distance, because according to an African proverb, "Alone we go faster, together we go further".

1. First call

We start the recruitment process with a call from a member of our Talent Acquisition team. The idea is to learn more about you and your professional experience. We view this interview as an exchange, so don't hesitate to highlight what makes you stand out as a candidate!

Recruitment process & onboarding

  • 2. Case Study

The next step is a case study. Our goal with this is to understand your way of thinking in order to determine if you would be a good fit for us and if we would be a good fit for you!

Our team reviews your case study, and if selected, you will have an interview with your potential manager and their manager, you may even meet our co-founders depending on the position. The idea is to understand the way you work so that we all can determine if SINGULART is the place where you can flourish in every way.

What they are looking for

At SINGULART, what is most important is that everyone adheres to three fundamental principles:

  • the ambition, "to become THE reference in art sales
  • the mission, "Empower artists".
  • the values that bring the team together and guide recruitment: empathy, collaboration and team spirit, the desire to learn, curiosity, ambition and benevolence.

You must also be willing to evolve on a daily basis in a multicultural team, where you sometimes have to explain your jokes but where there is always something to learn :)

Presentation

Founded in 2017, SINGULART is an online art gallery dedicated to helping artists take on the international barriers of the art market. With a team of 125 people (and still growing) and 26 different nationalities, our next big challenge is to recruit 200 people for 2022!

Recently, we secured a €60 million SERIES B fundraising, the most successful in the history of the cultural sector! What a journey in only 5 years and with so many more challenges to come! On a daily basis, we work hard to strengthen our mission: empowering artists and connecting them to art lovers around the world!

Our motto? Welcome to a world of creativity

Our goal? To put artists at the center of our society, to help art lovers in their artistic discoveries and finally to make the art market more transparent and accessible.

Why? Because we believe in the power of contemporary art. It opens minds, brings beauty to our life and cultivates peace.

Driven by a human mission, we share diversity and equity in our DNA. We value collaboration and innovation. Caring for our people is at the core of what we do, we want them to grow so we provide equal opportunities for all. We believe that all together we are able to move forward, so join our creative, international team and let’s empower artists together!
