As a Solution Consultant you will have the opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest people on our team. This is a key customer-facing role, reporting to the Global Head of Customer Success, that will work directly with our Sales leaders to set prospective customers up for success, ensuring they fully understand the capabilities of SimpliField’s industry leading platform.

A successful Solution Consultant is an empathetic problem-solver who partners with Customers from the Sales cycle all the way through to post implementation, listening to their needs, implementing a solution that helps transform their business, and training and supporting their staff to effectively use the SimpliField suite of tools.

Core Responsibilities:
Pre Sales Support and Demo Development

  • Understand the full SimpliField solution set to create demos and presentations that solve each prospective customers’ unique needs and pain points.
  • Configure and build custom demo environments to support the Sales Team.
  • Research prospective customers to ensure that the experience reflects the qualities of their Brand.
  • Support Pre-Sales in the development of client facing presentations, RFP and RFI responses throughout the Sales cycle.

Solution Delivery & Support

  • Work with Pre-Sales to listen to the needs of our prospective customers through business and technical discovery sessions and accurately document that information into Use Cases and specifications.
  • Project manage, configure and test the final solution according to documented specifications and in collaboration with Customer stakeholders.
  • Lead in-person and remote training sessions on solution capabilities & feature set.
  • Nurture client relationships through organized & strategic in-person, phone, and email communications.
  • Work directly with customers to troubleshoot, research and resolve questions and issues relating to the platform.

Product Education & Improvement

  • Participate in Solution Consulting and Product Management meetings to stay up to date on current technical concepts and future product enhancements.
  • Follow relevant trends in our focus industries of Retail & Hospitality.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Product Management to develop relevant use cases for prospective customers.

Preferred experience

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in a client-facing Project Management or Consulting role (i.e., Project Manager, Implementation Consultant, Technical Account Manager).
  • 1-2 year’s experience in a Mobile or SaaS industry.
  • Experience scoping, managing, and executing customer pilots and Proof of Concepts.
  • Knowledge of reporting and dashboard solutions such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Possess excellent client-facing skills and experience in dealing with client and technical teams as well as experience in presenting to Senior Level executives.
  • Ability to manage & prioritize multiple projects running in parallel timelines.
  • Be passionate about retail and/or understands the fundamentals of retail operations.
  • Outstanding work ethic and can create value with minimal direction.
