Mathieu has been the CEO and co-founder of Sim&Cure since 2014. He focuses his activity on strategic vision and business development.

Mathieu initially had a scientific background through his PhD in biomechanics on the risk of rupture of cerebral aneurysms and his position as R&D engineer at Philips.

Sim&Cure is his first entrepreneurial adventure where he placed, with Vincent the other co-founder, the human being at the center of his project to achieve the set objectives: Secure treatment.

Apart from Sim&Cure Mathieu is the happy dad of 2 children which almost another full time job! He is also passionate about sports and basketball more particularly where he was a high level athlete for 14 years.

PhD in applied mathematics, Christophe worked in the scientific and clinical areas for 6 years before Sim&Cure. International profile, author of more than 25 publications, Christophe has collaborated with multiple institutes and hospitals on various research subjects such as medical imaging, physiology, and numerical simulation in the cardiac and neurovascular fields.

Christophe joined Sim&Cure at its beginning and is now the privileged interface between the CEO and the different teams of the company. Being now a hybrid profile, he takes part among other things in the definition of Sim&Cure’s strategy and its daily application, manages the teams, leads the innovation, research, and development directions, and is in contact with the commercial and medical partners of Sim&Cure.

With a Master's degree in Project Management and Innovation in Biotechnology, Lucile specializes in the field of medical devices and more precisely in its regulatory context. After starting at Sim&Cure as an intern, Lucile became a regulatory affairs engineer within the start-up.

Through a wide variety of assignments, she interacts with all of the start-up's departments in order to ensure that the regulations are applied. Lucile brings her contribution and her expertise in the different phases of product life, whether during development, marketing or even distribution. It is in this role at the interface between the different departments that she learns and develops her position on a daily basis.

Graduated from a master's degree in information processing research specializing in image and living, Sonia then completed a PhD in medical imaging processing at the University of Toulouse. During her thesis, she worked on the application of machine learning techniques, in particular methods based on deep learning to automate the tasks of segmentation and classification of medical images.

This experience made her want to continue in the health sector and she thus integrated Sim&Cure as Data Scientist in July 2020. Her role consists in analyzing, proposing and implementing an architecture and solutions adapted to the different needs of research projects. She also participates in the implementation of a number of basic tools (preprocessing, visualization, annotation, etc.) to facilitate the exploitation and analysis of heterogeneous medical data in order to provide the best treatment to patients.

Sonia fits perfectly into the multidisciplinary culture of Sim&Cure, where a great diversity of profiles coexist in the service of medical research.

With a bac + 2 background (BTS IRIS: IT, Network and System Information), he has learned a lot from his various experiences over the past 12 years, to get to a position that fully suits him.

He arrived at Sim&Cure a year and a half ago as a C ++ / Qt dev, then as the start-up evolved, he moved into the position of software manager since July 2020. At the head of a team of 4 developers who, with the collaboration of other divisions (such as R&D, product life or marketing), continually improves the Sim & Size software and other products.

Different challenges are looming on the horizon and we can't wait to meet them!

Hobby level, he already has his two children to take care of :) Then he practices badminton (like many people at Sim & Cure elsewhere!).

Presentation

Founded in 2014 and located in the vibrant medical technology ecosystem in Montpellier, France. Sim&Cure is a digital start-up focused on improving neurovascular treatments for cerebral aneurysms with a proprietary software suite called Sim&Size (Class IIa medical device with CE mark and FDA 510k), which has already been used to treat more than 3000 patients in over 300 hospitals.

Sim&Cure won the prestigious national i-Lab competition twice in 2014 and 2015 and i-Nov in 2020. The start-up is supported by the IT-Translation and Elaia funds.

Sim&Cure's geographic scaling began in the US with the opening of a subsidiary in NY in July 2019 and will continue in 2021 in the Asia zone and more particularly China.

Sim&Cure counts among its customers the largest Medtech groups such as Medtronic, Stryker or Terumo among others, with the mission of securing patient treatment.

Sim&Cure's ambition is to become a standard in patient care insofar as it will become essential to carry out a digital therapeutic planning before each endovascular intervention.

Sim&Cure's mission is to use innovation and digital technologies to secure patient treatment.

What they are looking for

At Sim&Cure, they are looking for people who are passionate about innovation, autonomous and motivated to help improve patient care. They are looking for people with the desire to learn and share their knowledge

Future employees will be immersed in an environment where kindness and common sense are at the base of the start-up's DNA.

A great diversity of profiles is present at Sim&Cure, notably with Application Engineers, Regulatory affairs Engineers, Software Engineers and Data Scientist, where they plan to expand their teams over the coming months.

Good to know

At Sim&Cure, the well-being of the employee is at the center of the DNA. This is why, They have invested in spacious, modern and pleasant offices. They offer the restaurant vouchers at Swile and they provide Colombian organic coffee beans, microfiltered water with insulated gourds and organic snacks to their employees. The philosophy is to leave autonomy to employees to organize their work and help them grow with Sim&Cure.

Environmental policy At Sim&Cure, they also have an environmental commitment. They work with a green energy supplier. Their textiles (t-shirts and sweatshirts) are made from organic cotton. They also digitized their HR (payslip, leave management, expense reports, annual interviews, etc.) with the LUCCA suite to reduce paper use as much as possible.
