Job description

Activities
 
•       Develop a in-house Structural Finite Element solver
•       Write the documentation and training for this Finite Element solver
•       Participate to the creation of finite element models for medical applications
•       Improve the time computing e.g. CPU and/or GPU management,
•       Deploy finite element models into production
•       Write the verification and validation report concerning the finite element solver
•       Realize the state of art into the scientific litterature relevant to our business domain
•       Identify opportunities for applying Finite Element within Sim&Cure


Preferred experience

Expertise
 
·      Doctor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, or equal through experience
·      Knowledge about Finite Element method, using hyperelastic material model and contact between multiples bodies
·      Knowledge about beams and shells with co-rotational formulation
·      Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages (C, C++, Python)
·      Experience in verification and validation method to check a finite element solver
·      Knowledge about multi-processor computing
·      Good knowledge of French and English (written and spoken)
·      Experience with medical devices would be appreciated
·      Knowledge about versioning and its tools such as GIT
