Job description

About Sifflet:

We are building the world’s best data observability platform to help companies excel at data-driven decision-making. Today half of a data team’s time is spent troubleshooting data quality issues, Sifflet is putting an end to that. Our solution allows data engineers and data consumers to visualize how data flows between their services, define data quality checks, and quickly find the root cause of any data anomaly.

Our goal is to bring the same benefits to data teams. In a few years, every data-driven company will be using a data observability solution, and we want to be the best solution on the market (and of course, we have plans to go well beyond simple “data observability”). Our number of clients is growing steadily, and we need to expand our team!

Sifflet has received 18M€ funding from VCs like Bessemer, Mangrove and EQT.

We are a team of 35 people across France, UK and the US — and we’re growing!

The Role:

To support our growth, we are looking for an experienced People Manager to join the team.

You will play a pivotal role in our organization, being the bridge between all departments and the executives. Drawing upon your robust decision-making abilities and extensive expertise in talent management and organizational design within the technology sector, you will facilitate and nurture our team's rapid growth.

Sifflet has experienced significant growth, particularly over the last 12 months and we recognize the importance of establishing a dedicated team to support our ongoing development and expansion. The people team is meant to scale and your could play a fundamental role in it.

Your will be instrumental in structuring our company and implementing the necessary internal processes to enhance Sifflet’s performance as we continue to scale.

Day to day:

  • Coordinate and align with the CEO on company current and future needs
  • Work closely with leadership to create and foster an engaging culture in line with company values
  • Develop and implement effective people strategies and roadmap that support business goals and drive growth.
  • Oversee the structuring and organization of the company, including developing and implementing organizational charts, job descriptions, and career paths.
  • Design and implement competitive, fair, and values-aligned compensation and benefits programs
  • Create training and development programs that support employee growth, skills development, and career progression.
  • Develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent and foster a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Ensure seamless HR operations, including payroll, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Foster and uphold a positive and inclusive company culture that embodies our values and supports employee growth and well-being, in collaboration with the different teams.

About you:

  • 5-7 years of HR Manager/Business Partner experience in a fast-paced environment. Experience in an international environment is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English
  • Knowledge of french employment/labour laws requirement is appreciated
  • Full understanding of all HR disciplines and best practices, including leadership development, compensation practices, performance plans and employee relations
  • Analytical and goal oriented, ability to multi-task
  • A problem-solver to support business initiatives

It’s okay if you don’t tick all the boxes — don’t let imposter syndrome prevent you from applying!

Sifflet is committed to providing a caring work environment for all employees, regardless of age, sex, disability, sexual orientation, race, religion, or belief.

When it comes to recruitment, we’re interested in your work experience, skills, and overall personality. Because diversity makes the workplace stronger and is necessary for Sifflet success, we are intensifying efforts to incorporate concrete actions to help us improve in this area.
