Zoom on remote working

Update : total remote working only during lockdown.

The whole team is currently practicing flexible remote working. As such, in order to guarantee the maximum safety of all our collaborators, we make sure to apply the health measures in force, with the implementation of a flexible and optimized home-working collaboration mode for all.

Zoom on our local and international onboarding

Even at a distance, we ensure quality onboarding so that each of our newcomers feels expected and welcomed in their new position, as in a usual integration!

After finalizing the administrative and logistical details related to the arrival of our newcomers, we then set up an appointment at our offices, according to everyone's availability, in the presence of our HR & Admin manager. During this appointment, we hand over the equipment + welcome kit and explain the different steps of onboarding:

  • Allocation of a buddy + virtual coffee during the first week.
  • Discovery and presentation of the local teams by department via a video conference.
  • Introducing newcomers during our weekly All-Hands.
  • The sennder international Academy via a video conference, gathering all newcomers from all 7 countries of the Group, during the whole first week, with a focus on key/strategic functions, as well as a presentation of the global teams, with several team building and challenges :)

And after the integration?

We make sure that we maintain a collaborative way of working even during the lockdown. Because the well-being of our teams is important, we have been able to adapt and thus offer several alternatives to stay more connected and united than ever.

The welcome of our new employees via the sennder Academy, which takes place every first week of each month, has been completely rethought for remoteworking, so that each new employee can properly integrate even remotely! With team challenges aimed at stimulating creativity, a presentation of the strategic players and actors’s professions, and finally a personalized presentation of the newcomers to the group, it is a good time guaranteed!

We also offer a weekly Reverse Academy Knowledge, allowing employees in our 7 countries to exchange and share their business specificities with all the other departments by videoconference.

Finally, we regularly communicate on best practices for long-term remoteworking (e.g. alerts on psychomotor and psychosocial risks), for example by offering our employees the opportunity to participate in online activities (Yoga, Trivial Pursuit Night, Weekly Lunch Roulette, etc.), as well as win-win challenges (Values Week, Christmas Calendar Gifts, etc.).

Finally, every week we share a team meeting to exchange ideas, inform about news, and inform about the group's initiatives in all transparency.
