As a General Counsel, your role will be to design, develop and improve Scibids Legal department in order to efficiently support the company growth.
This position will combine high rigor standards, a strong ownership, an excellent understanding of business priorities and the ambition for your work to become a real game changer!

On a day to day basis, your responsibilities will include:

Contract Management & Ops
Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers, weighing risks and opportunities
Proactively educate and reassure clients and prospects legal teams about perceived risks (data protection, liability for actions, …)
Structure the legal workflow with clients in order to reduce the legal burden
Support the structuration of strategic partnerships

International growth
Collaborate with VP of Finance in setting up new foreign entities & local HR contracts
Keep up-to-date with the work legislation in different countries and make sure the company meets its obligations in the different stages of the work contract (offer, onboarding, annual interviews, offboardings etc…)
Handle relationships with our various legal partners across the world,

Corporate Structuration
Handle day to day corporate operations (stock options issuance, yearly closing, etc.)
Establish and maintain a DealRoom to prepare the company for a large fundraising
Collaborate with the SOC 2 team to ensure our compliance with the program

You will directly report to the founders and work closely with the Head of Finance.

Minimum qualifications:
5+ years experience in a relevant role (general counsel, corporate lawyer, …)
Fluency in english
Interest and ability to learn new skills in a fast-paced international environment

Preferred qualifications:
Experience working abroad
Solid technical understanding & Conducting a regular technology watch on web technologies subjects.
