The position

Job description

In order to support Scaleway's ambitious international growth strategy, the Revenue department is recruiting a Growth Marketer, within the Growth team, who will be accountable for developing a stellar self-serve buyer journey (retention & expansion focus) and creating the best developer experience.

Mission

As Growth Marketer, you will be responsible for creating a seamless buyer experience to showcase the value of Scaleway, by focusing on a specific stage in the buyer’s journey (retention & expansion) and optimizing the conversion metrics we use to measure success at that stage.

As a member of the Growth team, you will directly contribute to revenue growth, and you will be specifically accountable for our efficiency at improving retention rates regarding our existing customers and expanding their usage of our products.

Reporting to our Head of Growth, you'll build the roadmap for our experiments and contribute to the definition of new features to deploy in order to achieve our goals. You will ensure a steady cadence of short-term experiments to quickly test ideas before employing engineering resources to implement a full-fledged feature based on the outcomes of your experiments. In the future, we'll look to you to experiment and deploy growth tools that increase our access to data, intelligence, and engagement tools.

Minimum qualifications

  • Previous experience in being accountable for a growth metric like retention and expansion
  • Previous experience working in a Software-as-a-Service environment, ideally a cloud services provider
  • Comfortable with technically differentiated products, terminology, and industry players
  • Motivated by being accountable for growth of self-serve revenue and/or sales pipelines
  • Thrive in an autonomous environment
  • Love to learn every day
  • Curious and passionate about the future of cloud computing
  • Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for the retention and the ARPAC expansion of our self-serve activated customers
  • Set & maintain ambitious OKRs that generate alignment between Scaleway's growth strategy and our customers’ journeys
  • Work closely with PMMs to design actionable quarterly/monthly targets, initiatives, and metrics
  • Create dashboards to offer actionable insight into all of our console’s usage data (console.scaleway.com)
  • Optimize the self-serve buyer’s journey to improve retention and expansion of existing customers according to ICPs, segments, and products
  • Run an iterative process to determine high-impact improvement opportunities and manage the development process in close collaboration with the tech team
  • Work with other Marketing team members on creating new & personalized ways of engaging console visitors
  • Work closely with our Product Marketing teams via joint OKRs around improving a particular product/feature

  • This position can be either:  

    - Based in our offices in Paris or Lille (France), partial/full remote is possible 

    - Flex Remote Internationally

    39,000 - 56,000+ EUR per year
