As a Software Engineer at Salsify, you will be entrusted to innovate and constantly improve our products to deliver a platform and experience our customers love to use. Our engineers are simultaneously scaling a demanding application while simplifying sophisticated business processes for our users and learning from top engineers along the way.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Participate in sprint planning to analyze, negotiate, evaluate tasks of our SaaS platform;
• Design solutions as a team taking into account debt creation, planning and timing, development cost;
• Implement solutions that are scalable and reliable using cutting edge technologies such as Python 3 with Pyramid Framework (and Golang for backend); Typescript/ES2020+ with ReactJS (v17) + Redux for frontend; Mysql, Couchbase, and Elasticsearch as data storage;
• Participate in our 2022 challenges such as the migration to Event-Driven Architecture; Migration to FastAPI Framework; Micro Frontends; Backend for Frontend;
• Anticipate and propose needed technical and architectural changes to ensure the implementation of upcoming features;
• Participate in the merge of our two platforms: SXM & PXM.

You'll Enjoy This Role If You Have:

• Broad knowledge and a genuine curiosity about software development;
• A deep capacity to get things done;
• You are fully autonomous;
• Experience designing scalable systems following architectures best practices;
• 3 years of experience in a strong engineering environment;
• Knowledge of either Python or Golang;
• Fluency in English.
