We are looking to reinforce our Professional Services team by adding a Senior Business Consultant / Project Manager who will lead our deployment efforts directly with our clients which include retailers and brands. The day-to-day responsibilities include a combination of functional consulting and project management activities to implement our solutions and accompany our existing and new clients of all sizes and types (brick&mortar, pure play, quick commerce, etc.) on their adoption and transformation journey in their respective contexts. These activities also involve internal collaboration with other teams and coordinating virtual (project) teams.

After an onboarding and shadowing phase we aim to start involving candidates quickly in “hands-on” activities in ongoing client engagements and enable and train them to even lead client engagements typically after 5 to 6 months. Personal development and learning never stops at Salsify, be it in given industry or functional matters, methodology and project management, technology and platform evolution, industry standards or soft skills. How You'll Make an Impact:

The goal and mission of the Professional Services Team is to be our clients’ trusted advisors for efficiently implementing and adopting the Salsify solutions in our clients’ respective contexts by meeting (exceeding) their expectations, ensuring their success and accelerating “time to value” (TTV).

We are looking to reinforce our team with a Professional Services Business Consultant / Project Manager, who will lead our deployment efforts directly with our clients. More specifically, you will:

  • Deploy our solutions for retailers, brands and partners (implementation management, consulting on the appropriate use of our solutions and advising on standard methodologies)
  • Build the “bridge” between client context / needs and the Salsify solutions (organisational change aspects)
  • Stay up-to-date in understanding and deploying the Salsify solutions, latest product features and evolving industry standards
  • Within the scope of implementation and project management activities coordinate inter-functional teams: services and product teams and development, our client's IT and business teams, CSM, sales, etc.Facilitate communication within the project team and with other Salsify teams (“one team” approach)
  • In a project manager capacity define continuous monitoring of activities, risks and problems related to the project to ensure risk mitigation and continuous improvement, regular partner communication and reporting as well as the delivery of project results in adherence with the given project planning
  • Apply the methodology defined for Project Management (deliverables, meetings, follow-up, planning, governance) and supply to its enhancement

You'll Enjoy This Role If You Have:

  • 5 years or more experience in delivery management, project management and/or consulting, preferably in the retail environment
  • International background, English fluency is a must
  • Previous experiences in IT integration, delivery and implementation projects, preferably within the retail industry (ERP Retail, POS, PIM, DAM, Data Management)
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Great teammate fostering collaboration, authenticity and transparency
  • Emotional intelligence coupled with competence
  • Results and detail oriented
  • Customer handling/service skills
  • Ability to work with our clients, understand their needs, and translate them into project results
  • Ability to learn quickly and prioritise in the face of demanding timeframes and fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about the CPG industry and start-up ecosystem
  • Experience in working with JIRA, Kimble, and agile methodologies is a plus
