As our EMEA Event Manager, you will be the person responsible for European events.

Your role will be:

  1. To create and execute a yearly event strategy ;
  2. To plan and execute all aspects of high value in-person and virtual events.

The expected impact is to increase brand awareness, create pipeline and influence existing pipeline

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Understand Salisfy’s business objectives and build a yearly event strategy that includes trade shows, roundtables, experiential events, etc. in order to create brand awareness and to generate leads.

  • Research industry events and create recommendations of which events Salsify should participate in ;

  • Set up objectives for each event ;

  • Recommend a budget per event

  • Manage entire projects: every single event should become your most precious project.

  • Write the detailed program plan of every event: lead generation objectives and actions included prior to the event, during the event and post event ;

  • Communicate plans and necessary actions to Marketing, Sales and Executive stakeholders and mobilize internal stakeholders around the projects ;

  • Handle logistics, service providers, content and materials production, as well as internal & external communication around the event ;

  • Write social media briefing and emailing templates ;

  • Liaise with vendors and negotiate contracts ;

  • Manage the event budget ;

  • Drive and onboard the Sales team ;

  • Attend the events and report on the learnings ;

  • Measure key event metrics and event performance and report on them to key stakeholders

  • Collaborate with key contributors:

  • Our Marketing and Sales teams to prioritize personas, industries, sales models, geographic, etc.

  • Our Revenue Marketing Managers to build the best lead generation campaign prior to the event ;

  • Our Creative & Content team and our Product Marketing team to co-design the perfect event’s materials (banners, flyers, etc.)


Preferred experience

You’ll Enjoy This Role If You Have:

  • 5 years of Marketing Project experience, looking for an impactful startup experience

  • Curious by nature, capable of keeping up-to-date with our industry events

  • With a “can do” attitude and autonomous (just in case you didn’t catch it above!)

  • Previous experience in handling events or similar marketing projects

  • Strong organizational skills: capable of understanding, articulating and prioritizing tasks

  • Fluent in English + French

  • Can you work remotely? YES! Our offices are in Paris (WeWork) but we encourage anyone to join our teams at Salsify as long as they are France based. You will have the opportunity to work from home every day and meet your teammates in person on occasion to build a team spirit.
