Saagie (pronounced “sadgee”) is a startup enabling companies to shift their Big Data projects from their datalabs up to production, and to embed AI into their business in record times.

It provides the perfect devops platform embedding the most relevant technologies (Spark, Kafka, HDFS clusters, …) and enabling to orchestrate your data workflows (extraction, cleaning & refining, predictive modeling…) to build and run AI-based applications, all in the most compliant and secured structure. It’s unique design enables to onboard easily the various tenants of such projects (from data scientists and engineers to devs and ops), in a small amount of time.

Job description

👩‍💻👨‍💻 We’re looking for an experienced front-end developer to join our product team!


You’ll be in charge of developing our User Interfaces components business logic in our micro front-end architecture, improving existing UI components quality, which includes User eXperience and performance enhancement, as well as increasing test coverage.

You’ll be working in a fully Agile product team in direct relations with Back-end Developers, UI/UX Designers, QA Testers, Product Managers, and the SRE team.

You are committed to:
👩‍💻👨‍💻 Design & Develop web applications (mostly ⚛️React) designed for the end-user, helped by our 💅Design System, and maintainable by your teammates.
🤟 Contribute to improving our micro Front-end architecture.
🛠 Improve existing interfaces with UX and performance in mind.
🏭 Industrialize your developments so that they are integrated as soon as possible into our daily deliveries to production.
🎓 Share knowledge and mentor junior developers.

Additional Information

  • Location: Rouen or Paris office (France), or remotely (Limited to +/- 2h from GMT+1 timezone)
  • Contract: permanent
  • EU work permit needed

Preferred experience


  • Minimum 3 years experience as a front-end developer
  • French and English speaking (minimum intermediate level for each)

Hard skills

  • The DOM has no secret to you
  • You have a solid foundation in HTML and CSS development
  • You have skills ES6+ and ⚛️React development
  • You know how to test your UI components
  • You care about end users (UX sensitivity)
  • You know how to setup a front-end app
  • You already have experience in product development
  • You know how to and want to do tech watch

Soft skills (really matters for us)

  • You know-how - and want to - share your knowledge with your teammates
  • You like to communicate with people in and out of your team
  • You’re comfortable with remote work
  • Resourceful and open-minded: you’re keen to enhance your skills and use new tools quickly
  • Autonomous but can also work with teammates
  • You are pragmatic, delivery oriented and willing to deliver small increments at a time
