The position

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team. 🌟 With a presence in over 70 countries and headquartered in Paris, we operate in a vibrant, startup-like environment. The position is within the B2B team in charge of the EUROPE region, a new and fast-developing area for Rail Europe. 🚄

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the travel industry, preferably with experience in the train sector. 🚆 This role involves a blend of prospecting, marketing, Salesforce management, agent education, customer care support, and account management.


Prospecting (45%):

🔍 Identify and research potential clients within the travel industry.
📈 Utilize new marketing tools to easily generate leads.
📞✉️ Conduct outbound calls and emails to generate new leads.
📅 Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team.
💼 Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
📊 Track and report on prospecting activities and results.

Salesforce Management and Back-Office Tasks (15%):

🖥️ Manage and maintain the Salesforce CRM system for B2B European sales team.
📝 Ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry.
📋 Generate reports and dashboards to track sales performance.
🔑 Manage and administer key accounts in Salesforce.
🗄️ Manage contracts: creation, storage, yearly addendums.
🔄 Ensure all key account information is up-to-date and accurately maintained in the CRM system.
🛠️ Provide administrative support to ensure smooth operation and maintenance of key accounts.

Travel Agent Education (10%):

🎓 Develop and deliver training programs for sales agents.
🗣️ Provide ongoing support and education to ensure agents are knowledgeable about products and services.

Customer Care Support (10%):

🌟 Provide excellent customer service to clients.
🛎️ Address and resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly.
🤝 Work closely with the support team to ensure customer satisfaction.
📚 Maintain a high level of product knowledge to assist customers effectively.

Accounts Management (10%):

📈 Oversee the management and growth of accounts booking on our B2B portal.
🏆 Ensure that accounts are active and performing well.
🧩 Assist clients with any issues related to their account management.

Marketing (10%):

📑 Update presentations to ensure they are exhaustive, adapted to the audience, and impactful.
📢 Lead and manage regional campaigns to generate sales.

Team Structure:

👥 You will be part of a dynamic team of 3 people.
🤝 You will work closely in tandem with the Business Developer.

Preferred experience


🎓 A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required.


📊 2+ years of sales-related experience in a similar position with a proven track record.
🚆 Experience in the travel industry is essential, with a preference for knowledge in the train sector.


🌍 Fluent in English/Spanish Italian or German would be a plus.
🗣️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
⏰ Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
💪 Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
💻 Strong knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
📑 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
🔧 Familiarity with new marketing tools for lead generation is highly desirable.
