We are looking for a VP of Finance to oversee all the finance operations of PlayPlay. This pivotal role will be a member of the Executive Committee and lead FP&A (strategic planning, budgeting, financial communication to shareholders), Revenue operations (billing, cash collection, processes), and Accounting.

Our Finance team is a business partner to other departments, implied in strategic planning and decision. Its role is also to guarantee the reliability of financial data and indicators to monitor our business, report our activity to the management and shareholders, and be responsible for the day-to-day cash management.

The Finance team is composed of 3 sub-teams:

-FP&A: responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, financial communication, business analysis 

-Accounting: in charge of ensuring the quality of our historical data

-Revenue Operations: deals with billing, cash collection, and financial processes excellence

The team’s challenges in 2022:

-Internalization of accounting and ERP migration

-Internationalization with subsidiaries in the US and Germany

-Expansion and structuring of the team (recruitment of 5 members including a Head of FP&A and a Head of Accounting)

-Aid Senior Management including CEO, VP Sales, VP Marketing and Country managers in strategic, financial, and operational planning and execution 

Your missions:

Manage the FP&A, Accounting, and Revenue Operations teams:

  • Help them recruit new profiles
  • Help them improve by making the level of expectation consistently higher
  • Set up goals for each team and be accountable for their delivery
  • Prepare our structure for being international

  • Set up the processes for handling multiple countries in terms of accounting, cash management, reporting, financial operations
  • Bring expertise and structuration

  • Bring financial expertise and be an individual contributor on some specific subjects such as M&A and financing
  • Set up our financial organization for scale and success
  • Provide long term strategic and financial planning
  • Handle communication with investors, including drafting board communications and fundraising materials
  • Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in very demanding environments, ideally in software/SaaS companies
  • Strong technical and financial background in leading financial organizations
  • Experience in managing international teams
  • Natural problem-solving ability and excellent leadership skills
  • Strong fit with our culture of care, excellence, and pedagogy
  • Startup and international experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of US Gaap is a plus
  • Fluency in English required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
