Head of Community and Social Media

OSS is willing to create a strong community of professionals working in the manufacturing sector. As such we are recruiting our amazing Head of Community and Social Media.

Responsibilities
Design, grow and activate a new community of B2B members in the manufacturing area
Manage social media marketing and day-to-day related activities
Design content strategy and deliver content
Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.
Constant website optimization
Analyze past actions and translate data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and Community.


Preferred experience

Qualifications for the position
Education /Skills
3-5 years of content strategy, social media management and community management;
Know how to design, structure, animate and grow a community;
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, journalism, public relations or related field
Google Analytics
Practices superior time management to work simultaneously toward many company initiatives at once
Displays knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Linkedin, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
Demonstrate ability to map out a comprehensive marketing plan. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics.
Growth oriented and should be skilled at “tactful newsjacking”
Maintains excellent writing and language skills to deliver first class content.
Basic Photography and Videography to be in house Digital Media Producer
General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization and internet ranking for web content
Is a team player with the confidence to take the lead and guide other employees when necessary. (ie: content development, creation and editing of content, and online reputation management).
Constant learner

Experiences
Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in social media.
Experience sourcing, writting and managing content development and publishing.
Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
Experience with growing and animating a community of B2B members
Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and video format.

Tools
Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as Hootsuite and HubSpot
Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.
Experience with Design Software
