Job position

  • Location: Germany (or Lyon or Paris, France)

  • Reporting to: Sales Director Germany (Berlin)

As a Sales Manager for Germany for SMB, you will be pivotal in driving business growth within the German market for SMB accounts.

Your mission will be focus on Sales Development :

  • Identify and target potential clients in the German market to drive sales growth for Tier 1 and Tier 2 / SMB clients

  • Conduct market mapping to locate companies within the designated market segment on LinkedIn and other tools

  • Working with marketing write high-impact emails to persuade your contacts to talk to you and get the right messages accross

  • Oversee the entire sales cycle for Tier 2 / SMB customers, from initial qualification to deal closure. This includes aligning business needs, conducting sales presentations and demos, and negotiating contracts & prices

  • Maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities

  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities

  • Keep the CRM up to date (a pipe, sales, revenue, invoices, etc.) and help build sales activity reports and dashboards

Preferred experience

Desired profile :

  • +3 years of experience in technical B2B or SaaS Sales

  • Self-starter and initiative taker who actively seeks out leads and opportunities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication is crucial

  • Experience in lead generation, prospecting, and business development

  • Expertise in sales tools (Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, …), email automation, and social media platforms

  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment

  • Soft skills: adaptability, listening skills, creativity, collaborative spirit, autonomy, ethics and empathy

  • Proficiency in German and English are essential for this role

  • German market knowledge is mandatory (can be gathered from having lived there/ visited/ affinity to the culture etc)
