DESCRIPTION OF THE POSITION
(Fixed Term Contract - 8 months with possibility of extension)
At OpenClassrooms, the Social Program Success Team is here to guarantee exceptional performance of our public-funded Education-to-Employment programmes. The team ensures our partners get the best possible experience with us through excellent project delivery results. We oversee and coordinate many areas of the delivery journey, from candidate sourcing to reporting and billing. We’re passionate about monitoring the training and career results of our learners, and we collaborate as a company to maximize them.
You will own the delivery and the overall success of our first large-scale government sponsored programme in England. We are looking for a versatile Programme Manager with significant experience in managing Education-to-Employment programmes (Bootcamps, apprenticeship, etc…) You are a proven data-driven leader with experience in building and managing strong processes tailored to meet specific goals. You have an in-depth knowledge of the Further Education key players and regulatory framework in the UK, including Ofsted and ESFA compliance. You work well with staff and stakeholders, and can work well individually and as part of a team. Most importantly, you are convinced that technology and innovation can enable the delivery of excellent education, and generate gainful career opportunities for job seekers and other underserved populations.
In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of the delivery for a UK government sponsored training programme. You will work with Product and Data teams and key partners to achieve optimal project delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish the data collection and reporting processes to meet the programme requirements and create efficient operations
Lead student sourcing and enrollment processes, ensuring a sufficient candidate pool that meets programme eligibility criteria and demonstrates a high level of motivation to succeed as learners
Develop a structured process for establishing the training timeline, tracking programme progress, and assessing the programme performance (% of learners on track, churn rate, completion rate)
Build strategic partnerships with aligned organizations throughout England to guarantee job placement opportunities for learners after programme completion
Create career search strategies that prepare learners for job search success and allow us to exceed our job placement target goals
Oversee full programme compliance and regulatory requirements
Deliver detailed high level reports on the programme execution, progression, and end results, as contractually agreed with our clients
Strengthen key client relationships and networks, specifically with public funding institutions
Strategic alignment directly with Student Success Team
In order to guarantee a smooth execution of all these aspects of the programme, you will follow rigorous programme management standards, with a focus on:
Ensure staff and key members have clear alignment on expectations and deliverables
Track project timeline for every task, driving strict deadlines and target dates
Monitor key performance indicators and provide detailed reporting to internal partners
Assess programme risks and possible obstacles; provide corrective recommendations
Maintain detailed documentation on all actions taken, results, and lessons learned for future review in growing the capacity for OpenClassrooms to continue delivering these programmes at the highest standard of quality and performance

This role reports to the Senior Manager, Social Program Success
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Project Management skills (complex projects, bootcamps, apprenticeships)
Leadership capabilities; transform siloed work environments
A passion for education, professional training, and job placement (helping others succeed)
People management / coordination skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines towards specific KPI’s
Ability to organize, delegate, and execute multiple tasks, identifying opportunities for process improvements
Knowledge of notable UK contacts/networks within Further Education and regulatory framework
Tech knowledgeable - experience with the following: Slack, Salesforce, MS Office, G-Suite, ATS and other recruiting tools, etc.
Experience in Elearning/EdTech industry
YOUR BACKGROUND
5 to 7 years of successful project management
3+ years experience working in Further Education in the UK
Startup, scaleup experience preferred
