The position

Job description

In order to accelerate the growth of its user base (with a focus into the US market), promote new offers (Newzik Education) and optimize its revenue streams, Newzik is looking for a Head of Growth.

As a Head of Growth, your main mission will be to boost the growth of our different offers:

  • Optimize and scale our existing acquisition channels
  • Optimize and scale our existing acquisition channels (email, social media, Google Ads, SEO, ASO …), to recruit new users especially in the music education segment, in the United States and in Europe.
  • Contribute to the increase of the company’s revenues and maximize the ROAS of our marketing campaigns
  • You will also be responsible for the development of marketing and sales automation tools as part of an inbound strategy
  • Regularly report on our various acquisition, engagement and revenue metrics to comex and our investors

You will work directly with the CEO and will be in close relation with the product, design and tech teams.

Position to be filled as soon as possible, based in Paris and with the possibility of full remote work.


Preferred experience

  • You have at least 5 years of successful experience in acquisition/growth, ideally in a start-up or in a tech company, and you are familiar with the growth mentality and tools.
  • You are interested in both B2B and B2C, and know how to work in an international environment (both in the market and in our team).
  • You are fluent in Office and Google. You know Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Mailchimp, Hubspot, Zapier or Typeform like the back of your hand.
  • You have an analytical and structured approach to each of your actions: you know how to plan the expected results, measure the right KPIs to optimize them on a daily basis, and report clearly and concisely on the results obtained.
  • You have a strong team spirit, you know how to work with external partners.
  • You have a good tech culture, and know what is involved in managing tech products (web and iOS) on a daily basis. You have a good knowledge of HTML/CSS, JS and any other computer language.
  • You have a perfect command of American English, both written and spoken, and know how to adapt your expression to your interlocutors (B2B prospects, B2C users, partners, colleagues, investors…). If you speak French, that’s even better; any other language would also be a plus.
  • BONUS: you have a previous experience in the sheet music industry

Recruitment process

Step 1 : 30-minute interview with our CEO
Step 2 : Case study (approx. 2h) to be completed and transmitted within 48 hours of the interview.
Step 3 : Final confirmation following a final interview with our president as well as a meeting of the team, answer and taking of post ASAP thereafter.
