Myriad Connect offers the opportunity to join its West Africa team as Sales Consultant and Business Developer.
You will play a key role in contributing to business growth in the region.

As Sales Consultant, you have technical competencies to understand and qualify customer expectations and requirements and provide the necessary technical support to Sales team. This key role is a bridge between Sales, R&D and Operation teams to propose technical solution to customers.

As Business Developer, you will provide outbound activities to expand customer footprint and provide new product to existing customers. Understanding market, trends, and competition, thinking out-of-the-box you will nurture the organisation to develop roadmap and widen the product offering.
As part of the Sales team, you will be the bridge between Sales, R&D and Operation teams. You are at ease with advanced technical solutions. You have excellent communication skills to present solutions both to technical and marketing team.

As a Solution Consultant, your responsibilities will be to:
• Support Sales Managers in complex sales processes by providing customers with documentations, demonstrations and explanations required
• Ensure a constant and renewed knowledge of product features and benefits for customers
• Prepare, coordinate, and conduct successful presentations and demos.
• Understand customer requirements and manage expectations to match products capabilities.
• Assist customers with planning, engineering, and drafting technical requirements.
• Convert requirements in opportunities to feed Sales funnel
• Prepare financial and technical propositions
• Lead and answer RFI/RFP/RFQ with the other team. Review and ensure overall accuracy and consistency of the answer
• After Sales, follow up and understand solution usage, to ensure customer satisfaction and plan up/cross selling
• Collect and build competitive analysis and product comparison

As a Business Developer, you will have the following responsibilities:
• Establish and execute a rigorous sales prospection plan
• Perform outbound activities (calls, emailing, social network …) to identify, penetrate new accounts by generating qualified leads for the sales manager of the territory
• Generate customer leads, build and maintain a sales pipeline to contribute to sales target in specified zones and/or accounts
• Understand market needs, trends and competition positioning and provide feedback to the organization
• Think out-of-the-box and locally to nurture global roadmap and product offering


Preferred experience

• Excellent oral and written communication skills, you speak fluently French and English
• You have technical background and appetite for sales to ensure capability to present solutions both to technical and marketing team.
• Team player, autonomous, rigorous, organized with efficient time and activity management, you are self-driven to reach and exceed targets.
• Curious and detail-oriented, you provide high quality documents and reporting/feedback.
• Located in West Africa, you have an excellent understanding of the telecom ecosystem, the market and local usage of mobile solutions.
• Ideal profile is an engineer with appetite for sales and business development.
