The position

Job description

At ModaResa, we’re transforming how fashion brands and buyers coordinate their wholesale activities. We’re looking for a Business Developer intern who’s ready to make a real impact by helping us scale our B2B SaaS solution across the global fashion industry.

You’ll work closely with our Founder and sales team to present ModaResa’s technology in the most strategic, compelling way to both brands and buyers.

🎯 What you’ll be doing

  • Own the sales cycle for international medium to enterprise-level brands — with a mix of inbound leads and outbound sourcing.

  • Run product demos and communicate the value and vision of ModaResa via video calls and in-person meetings during fashion weeks.

  • Prospect new clients through outbound efforts (LinkedIn, email, calls…) to build a strong pipeline.

  • Hit and exceed outreach, proposal, and sales targets, directly contributing to ModaResa’s growth.

  • Experiment and improve: Test new outreach techniques and help refine the sales playbook through trial and feedback.

  • Deliver an outstanding customer experience, no matter the deal outcome — including through our online customer chat.

  • Stay sharp: Keep up-to-date with fashion industry trends, wholesale challenges, and competitive landscape.

🌟 Why join us?

  • Be part of a driven, international, and mission-led team bringing real tech value to a traditional industry.

  • Gain increasing ownership of a portfolio of prestigious fashion brands and retailers.

  • Multilingual team culture: we speak English, French, Italian, and Norwegian.

  • A unique opportunity to grow commercially and strategically in a fast-moving startup.

Preferred experience

You

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills — you know how to focus on what matters and keep the team informed of your progress.

  • You welcome feedback and use it as a lever for continuous improvement.

  • You keep a cool head under pressure and know how to respond thoughtfully, not react impulsively.

  • You’re fluent in English (mandatory).

  • You have excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • You’re a self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset — you love solving problems and finding new ways to create value.

  • Ideally, you’re in the final year of your studies or in a gap year

Recruitment process

We value thoughtful, motivated candidates, and we’ve designed a process that allows both sides to get to know each other thoroughly.

  1. Written Introduction & Application Review
Tell us why you think we could be a great mutual fit through a short written note. We’ll also review your video, CV, and portfolio (if relevant to the role).

  2. Personality Test & Introductory Call (30 min)
If we’re aligned, we’ll send you a quick and fun personality test, followed by a 30-minute Google Meet call to get to know each other better and explore cultural alignment.

  3. Home Case Study
You’ll complete a realistic case study that reflects the kind of challenges you’d face in the role.

  4. Reference Checks
We’ll connect with former managers or colleagues to better understand your working style and strengths.

  5. Final Interview with the Founder (30–45 min)
You’ll meet our founder in person in Paris for a final conversation to ensure a strong cultural and strategic fit.
