The position

Job description

You will lead on legal aspects, establishing best practices for all business units. This is a newly created role and critical to the ongoing success of the business where excellent contract negotiation as well as long term risk management are paramount.

As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for:

Contracts Negotiation & Management– The Head of Legal provides his or her expertise on the preferred contractual strategy, ensures the drafting of contracts, and participates closely with operational staff in contractual negotiations.

Legal Culture & Awareness– The Head of Legal provides legal advice to operational and sales teams involved in the business development and monitors regulatory and legal developments. He or she regularly leads training and refresh sessions for operational and sales staff on legal aspects.

Disputes Resolution – The Head of Legal is closely involved in the management of pre-litigation situations, and ensures the management of disputes and litigation by managing the interface between lawyers and operational staff.

The Head of Legal will have a sense of urgency, a good sense of humor, is passionate about what they do and performs well in an ever changing environment.
