The position

Job description

We are looking for a Chief of Staff to help Meero scale and achieve our ambitious goals and strategic initiatives. You will be in charge of managing and monitoring key transversal strategic and operational projects and drive business units towards our goals.

You will report to the COO and work closely with the executive committee.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Strategic projects:

  • Coordinate key strategic project: participate in roadmap definition, ensure stakeholder alignment, organize steering committees and report on advancement and performance.
  • Lead internal cross-team projects tracking the progress and setting a strong cadence for delivery.
  • Actively participate in fundraisings, M&A activities (from screening to integration), and partnerships.
  • Monitor and report on competitive activities and benchmarks.

Organization effectiveness and process improvement:

  • Constantly identify and assess process risk exposure and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead important operational excellence projects end-to-end, from audit to implementation, with a strong focus on operational and financial efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate core business functions and support functions to reach strategic goals.

Governance management:

  • Organize and lead company presentations and meetings, including weekly meetings, quarterly reviews, business and all staff meetings to ensure regular communication and alignment across the team worldwide.
  • Support company’s growth by anticipating and solving future challenges through market monitoring and best practices (tools, data…).

Preferred experience

  • Strong competencies in project management and strategic planning.
  • Strong organizational and strategic skills and ability to lead change under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Very strong quantitative skills (you have a data-driven mindset).
  • Excellent communication skills, you can interact with different personalities at all levels and worldwide, you are persuasive but also empathetic and open-minded.
  • You are fluent in French and English.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm and / or in a highly cross-functional role in a high-growth start-up.
  • Experience in a M&A activities is a plus.
