MANGOPAY is a leading European fintech aiming to shape the future of exchanges by building powerful payment technologies for entrepreneurs.

We specialise in providing payment technology for marketplaces and crowdfunding platforms to enable them to process funds easily and automatically, so that they can focus on their business. Today, we have over 2,500 clients all across Europe, including some of the most innovative marketplaces such as Vinted, Rakuten, and more, for whom we have processed more than 18 billion euros since our creation in 2013.

Our everyday actions are based on our three values: entrepreneurship, collaboration and diversity. We have seven offices across Europe and we are proud to foster an inclusive and dynamic work environment, which has enabled us to grow into an innovative leader both locally and internationally.

    Job description

MANGOPAY is the most flexible payment solution on the market. It allows our clients to create unique payment paths that suit their needs and those of their users.

While our technology is highly valued for its flexibility, it is sometimes perceived as complex by our customers and the developers who integrate it. The mission of the Developer Experience team is to make our technology easier to understand and integrate through API documentation and integration solutions.

We are looking for a Technical Writer who will bring precision and consistency to our documentation and ensure good understanding of our technical solutions.

Collaborating with stakeholders across the business, the Technical Writer will help us to enhance the developer experience and to define a new level of excellence in payment solutions for developers.

Reporting to the Lead Product Manager (Developer Experience), you will be part of the Product team under the direction of the Head of Product.

As a Technical Writer, your responsibilities will include:

    • Creating technical content that shows developers how to use MANGOPAY and how to get the most out of their MANGOPAY implementations

    • Owning the writing process of technical articles, tutorials and release notes

    • Participating in defining a documentation strategy and process: organisation, tone of voice, writing guidelines, design

    • Reviewing, updating and harmonising our technical content across all our documentation

    • Develop new documentation formats such as video tutorials, starter-kits

    • Collaborating with our Marketing and Academy teams to create blogs, white papers, and other publicly available content.

    Preferred experience

    • At least 1-2 years of in-depth work on technical products, as a Technical Writer, Customer Success or Product Manager. Ideally in fintech or on SaaS products.

    • Excellent written communication skills in English and you do speak french as well

    • You are attracted to new technologies and coding (even if you are not a developer yourself). API or SDK are not strange words for you.

    • Product-oriented and user-centric mindset are welcome

    • Be collaborative, meticulous and passionate

    • Even better if you are able to understand some PHP or Javascript even if you won’t have to code yourself.

    Recruitment process

    • HR Call
    • Interview with the Lead Product Manager
    • Use Case (to be prepared at home)
    • Interview with the Head of Product
    • A last informal interview with another Product Manager and a member of the Content Team.

Interested in this position? Apply without a second thought!
For us, applications are all very welcome. Our differences are our wealth : we are committed to promote and embody all shades of diversity for a more inclusive and equitable society.
