The position

Job description

Under the direct responsibility of the Growth Manager East EU, you will be in charge of the good commercial development of MANGOPAY in selected markets in Eastern Europe, paying a particular focus on Poland. You will have a key role with the objective of helping MANGOPAY to become a leader in online payments in this region.

You will represent MANGOPAY on these markets, be its spokesperson by conveying our values ​​and information on the fact that we are establishing ourselves locally, in order to support our strategic customers and our future prospects in their local and international operations.

You will drive growth and be the guarantor of the good performance of your countries through the levers of Sales, Marketing, customer service and all other aspects of business, particularly financial and regulatory. 

More specifically, your responsibilities will be:

Acquisition & generation of volumes

  • Proactively ensure the increase of MANGOPAY's market share on the by increasing our customer base, transaction volumes and by actively participating in the growth of existing customers
  • Build rapport and guide prospects through the onboarding process, analyse and understand their business model, and match their needs to our capabilities.

Market studies and business analyzes

  • Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and payments expertise; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Close collaboration with several internal departments, including but not limited to marketing, finance, compliance and technical support.
  • Work hand in hand with the Sales team in Berlin to develop and implement the local business strategy most suited to the growth drivers identified.
  • Maintain a good global knowledge of the trends and developments in the main targeted markets. 
  • Ensure a regular benchmark of the players involved (competitors, partners, prospects, new entrants, etc.).

Partnerships

  • Identify, select and manage key local partners

Product

  • Work closely with the Technical and Product teams to analyze and identify the key features and means of payment in your market that you deem necessary to deploy or adapt locally
  • Be a source of proposals to the Content team to ensure you provide an offer adapted to local needs

Preferred experience

  • You are bilingual Polish / English. German or other East European languages are a definite plus. Please apply with a German or English resume
  • You have a good understanding of the local Polish culture and market. Experience in other cultures is also relevant. 
  • You have a marked affinity for technology solutions and an eagerness to learn.
  • You have 1 year of experience in Sales / Account Management, in Saas solutions, in a benchmark company in the financial services industry, entrepreneurial or consulting experience relevant to the industry.
  • You are autonomous, have an analytical mindset and are proactive with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and an inquisitive, outgoing personality. 
  • Mobility desired - As our offices and clients are spread across Europe, regular business trips are part of the role as soon as the health situation permits it
