The position

Job description

Reporting directly to the Country manager Iberia, you will be responsible to develop the business of the Spanish Market. Your role will be key to help Mangopay become the online payment solution leader in Europe and especially in Iberia. 

You will help to drive the country performance in each business function including operations, sales & marketing, customer service, support and all other aspects of the business including financial and legal topics. More specifically, you will…

Acquisition & Revenue generation & Integration

  • Create and drive the Spanish pipeline 
  • Be proactive to make sure MGP has a great traction in Spain to increase business volumes, turnover, margin, growth of existing clients, numbers of new clients…
  • Provide a technical and functional expertise for the customers at all stages: pre-sales; integration; activity monitoring in partnership with the CSM team
  • Advise and propose the best workflow for the prospects’ business in partnership with the CSM team

Account Management 

  • Follow the customers’ business evolution as well as technical needs and escalate them to the teams in charge of the roadmap
  • Identify any recurring issues or needs and provide reports to the other members of the account management team.
  • Closely monitor the customer’s activity and performance, escalating issues to the appropriate teams and service providers

Business analysis 

  • Benchmarking our key competitors and new entrants
  • Provide relevant reporting
  • Work hand in hand with the Country manager Iberia to define and implement a scalable & predictable local Sales strategy

Preferred experience

  • +3 years of experience in the B2B SaaS industry, or in a major digital player, or in a top tier consulting firm or the financial services industry.
  • Good understanding of the Spanish online market - fintech industry would be really appreciated. 
  • Good local network
  • Willingness to travel up in Spain -Portugal - France and Europe
  • You are a problem solver and like to sell;
  • You are curious, rigorous, responsive;
  • You’re a team player;
  • You are confident with web technologies and problematics;
  • You know how web coding works, even if you don’t have to code yourself;
  • You have a thorough understanding of how a REST API works;
  • And of course, you are 100% fluent in Spanish as well as in English. French would be a plus.
