About the role

If you join Malt, you will be attached to our Head of Legal Stéphanie. We are looking for someone who is passionate about business law, entrepreneurial, pragmatic and very hands-on, who is eager to learn and work on a variety of topics. 

As a member of our Legal team, Your mission will be

  • Contribute to the success of Malt's international expansion by adapting our model in the new countries in which we operate,
  • Review, negotiate and draft commercial contracts with our key accounts (we work with 85% of the CAC 40), particularly in the Spanish market,
  • Advise our teams (sales, customer care, product...) on a wide range of topics, in order to convey the right messages to our clients and freelancers,
  • Participate in the expansion and structuring of the legal team and its management,
  • Legal monitoring, especially of the regulation of freelancers, writing legal content on topics related to freelancing and platform regulation.
  • Participate in the evangelization of our legal model by exchanging with the legal departments of our prospects and clients.

    • You will be able to evolve on these different missions in a French and international perimeter!

    Preferred experience

  • You have a Master's degree in Business Law / Intellectual Property or similar and you have strong knowledge in employment law
  • You have at least 5 years of legal experience in a law firm and/or company 
  • You speak french and have a good level of English (essential to evolve in our international environment)
  • Rigor, autonomy and going the extra mile are your leitmotiv 

    • Our Recruitment process

  • Screening with Elisa (our Head of Talent Acquisition), to better understand your background, aspirations and answer your questions. (30-45 minutes)
  • Interview with Stephanie, our Head of Legal, to discuss your experience and the role in more detail (45-60 minutes)
  • Home assignment to prepare and present to Stephanie in order to evaluate your hard skills
  • And finally a final interview with a C-Level to give you an overview of Malt's strategy
