You will directly report to Max, our cofounder & CEO (ex CEO & cofounder @Everoad)
You will be joining our VP Sales Maxime and our Lead Growth [Louis] (https://www.linkedin.com/in/louisuguen/?originalSubdomain=fr)** have the chance to collaborate with everyone at Maki.

We have the ambition to develop a cool and strong brand and we strongly believe that it will be the asset that will make a difference for our success!

About your mission

  • Define Maki’s overall brand strategy by developing consistent cross channel campaigns and creating strong brand assets intended for our different segments
  • Research and define relevant contents and messages by target and by channel
  • Manage relationships with main content contributors who help us to develop our marketing projects (pool of freelancers, agencies and media, guests writers or customers…)
  • Participate in the definition of our content plan and formalize it through a detailed editorial calendar (webinars, blog posts, landing pages, customer stories, whitepapers, ebooks…)
  • Manage Maki’s global presence in the press (web and print, TV, radio, podcasts…) in close collaboration with our PR agencies in France and in the US
  • Coordinate the production, the publication and the optimization of each piece according to our content plan
  • Concept campaign ideas and projects for major initiatives like product launches, new features, hiring, key events…
  • Co-analyze with the team lead, conversion and engagement on each piece to follow and optimize marketing initiatives

Eventually as one of the early employee of Maki, you’ll be be able to shape the future of the team. We share as much ownership on the way we work and on the product itself as we can as we’re convinced our success is 99% due to our team.


Preferred experience

Required background 🤹

  • Experience in brand, content and/or communication roles
  • Creative and passionate about all things writing, marketing, storytelling
  • Effective communicator who enjoys collaborating and working with others - active listener, empathetic, extremely clear, direct, timely, and accurate
  • Drive and ambition - we’re growing fast and expect you to grow along us
  • Entrepreneurial mindset - you have a proactive attitude, enjoy freedom and autonomy and act as an owner
  • Native French speaker and fluent English

Preferred background 💘

  • Experience in a similar role, within a fast-growing startup or B2B SaaS
  • Experience in HR companies or teams

Recruitment process

Whenever: 2-3 informal meetups

Through the whole process, we will additionally let you to schedule a couple 30-minute informal meetings with a few employees. These meetings (online or IRL) will be a chance for you to familiarise yourself with our team, our motivations, and ask questions!
