The TPM tribe
At Luko, Lukooms’ forces are divided into 3 tribes, set up on a product-based organisation. Each tribe has its own roadmap with a product manager and a dedicated tech team: The MRR tribe that focuses on Luko’s growth via the acquisition of new customers, the NPS tribe is aimed at delighting our users throughout the whole life of their contract - claims included, and the TPM tribe that works on building the best connected devices and services to protect our homes.

As part of the TPM tribe (Touch Per Month), you will be responsible for building the best connected devices and services to protect our homes. At Luko, we believe that prevention is better than cure. Together with the tech team, you work on technology and AI to build a better future for our homes, we all want to live in.

Your mission at Luko

As an advanced R&D engineer, you will be joining the TPM tribe, and more specifically our SmartHome team. You will be our Signal processing Expert, and and you will mostly be working on one of our key products, LukoWater.

  • Strong expertise in signal processing
  • Develop our ultrasonic technology into a consumer product
  • Take part in the industrialisation process
  • Setup and manage beta testing campaigns
  • PCB design, mechanics, firmware, etc.

Preferred experience

Must have

  • A good understanding of electronics, being at least able to read schematics
  • Programming skills (C/C++ python)
  • Expertise in sensor signal processing (kalman, wavelet filtering, etc.)
  • Previous experience in prototyping devices (3d printing, arduino, etc.)
  • Hands-on attitude: self starter with willingness to roll up sleeves and step out of your role when needed (our team is small, we need to be flexible and open to broaden our expertise/tasks)
  • High degree of autonomy, drive and energy: you are responsible to get the product into customers’ hands, you are able to work on a project without guidance

Nice to have

  • Knowledge on acoustics, RF or ultrasonic is a plus
  • Interest in helping in the industrialisation part
