    Job description

    We are looking for a Legal Intern to join our team in Paris !
    As Lovys Legal intern, you will have a global overview from a legal standpoint of all aspects of Lovys’s business.
    You will join the Legal Team, under the supervision of the Head of Legal and you will also work closely with the Finance team, the Insurance team and the Partnership team, amongst others, across France, Spain and Portugal.

    As a Legal intern at Lovys, you will mainly address:

    • Contract reviews and negotiations (partnership agreements, contracts with insurance companies, NDAs etc.).
    • Answering questions from the business (launch of new products features, new countries, marketing and communications campaigns, IP issues etc.).
    • Compliance (GDPR, AML-FT, Solvability II etc.).
    • Corporate and tax matters (board meeting preparation, BSPCE, M&A, etc.).
    • Creating contract templates and organizing trainings for other people at Lovys.
    • Legal tech / Reg tech onboarding.

    Preferred experience


    • You have 12 to 18 months of experience as intern or apprentice with a top-tier law firm or bailiffs or bank/fintech/insurtech and you have a strong interest for insurance/financial matters.
    • Academic Background: Master Degree in French law.
    • Business-oriented: You are able to put your legal expertise in perspective with Lovys’s business and always provide recommendations that are business oriented.


    • You have strong oral and written communications skills and a good sense of diplomacy.
    • Analytical mind & rigorous: You have well-honed organizational and analytical skills to quickly elaborate key findings, form opinions and make decisions.
    • Curious mindset: You are intellectually curious, open-minded, adaptable, a fast learner and are excited by a dynamic startup environment.
    • Mastery: You will need to master encountered legal issues related to digital platforms and banking fraud modus operandi, during your internship.
    • Languages: You are fluent in both French and English. Mastery of another European language (ideally Portuguese or Spanish) is a definite plus.
