The position

Job description

LoungeUp is searching for a new, paid, full-time intern who is a fluent English speaker (or someone of equivalent linguistic ability), with a good level of French, to start in early July 2024 for 6 months.

As a Customer Success Intern at LoungeUp, you will work directly with the Customer Success Team, made up of you and 6 Account Managers. You will become their right hand person, helping them with the undertaking of new clients that purchase the app, supporting those that already use the platform, as well as translation and other long term projects. If you are interested in learning more about client account managing and working in an agile company with the space to grow and improve your computing skills as well as your French, this is the internship for you.

You will be in charge of:

  • Creating Hotel Applications, email and SMS automated campaigns which make up the LoungeUp product offered to clients

  • Use of English and French to carry out the translation of important information such as press release notes

  • Helping the support team resolve client’s technical requests directly

  • Long term project to improve customer satisfaction

The salary for this internship is 800€/month, and we also reimburse 50% of monthly transport costs.

**A word from the previous intern **This 6 month internship is well suited to British university students in their 3rd year undertaking a ‘Year Abroad’. The language spoken in the office is French, therefore a good level, spoken and written, is required to do the job well. This provides a great opportunity to improve your French skills, especially with the company’s social events such as monthly office drinks. This role is very varied and you are given lots of responsibilities and opportunities to learn as you go, giving you an excellent experience of the professional world whilst being surrounded by a friendly and sociable team.

  • Initiative: being proactive will not only increase your enjoyment of your internship but will also benefit the company, we are constantly evolving our ways of working.
  • Organisation: you must be efficient in taking notes and keeping on top of all of your tasks.
  • Sociability: LoungeUp is a friendly and young company, with plenty of socials available to attend after work - it is an opportunity for you to really get involved.
  • A good level of spoken and written French, and English at a native or near native level, and Spanish is a plus.
