To support our marketing efforts in North America, we are looking for a high-energy, creative and curious Marketing Intern who is eager to learn from and work with a team of fun, smart and driven individuals. This is a hybrid position, reporting to the NYC office 2-3x a week. It is a 40-hour per week internship that will last from June to August (dates to be defined) and will report to our Marketing Manager.
What you’ll do:
Support key events in North America, helping maximize our presence at industry conferences and assist with planning and executing Locala hosted events.
Work with the US marketing and sales enablement teams to support and prepare copy for one pagers, presentation slides, and seasonal materials.
Partner closely with our global MarCom team on creative and copy for social posts
Using Hubspot, help support email marketing campaigns, including the creation of seasonal promotions, monthly newsletters, and more.
Support the US marketing team in daily administrative tasks
Your profile:
Currently enrolled as an Undergraduate or Graduate student at an accredited college or university
GPA of 3.0 or higher
No formal experience required, but some proof that during your studies you’ve shown an interest in marketing and communications (e.g. past internships, blogging, online courses)
You are eager to learn - you’re passionate about learning new things and curious about new marketing skills and techniques.
Ability to self-manage, juggle multiple priorities & meet deadlines with a strong attention to detail
Excellent communication & writing skillsComfortable with a start-up environment, open to facing interesting challenges globally with a problem-solving & resourceful mindset
Past experience with software and platforms like Hubspot, Salesforce, Canva, and Google Analytics is a plus.
Availability to commit to our team for from May - August,, 40 hours a week
Able to be in NYC 2-3 days/week and work remotely for the rest of the week
Compensation Range:
$17 - $20 per hour. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
