Therefore, we are looking for an Engineering Manager who is passionate about leading a team of talented Developers to develop a product used by 3,000+ customers across the globe.

Livestorm is currently looking for Engineering Managers to lead the Dashboard Squad.

As an Engineering Manager for the Dashboard squad, your goal will be to develop or improve integrations and developer tools that make any connection with relevant 2nd and 3rd party software possible with Livestorm.

In this role, you’ll work alongside Developers, Technical Support Specialists and Product Manager of the Dashboard Squad, and will be reporting to Florian, the Head of Engineering. A close relationship with the Product Manager will also be key in order to define the tasks and goals of the squad.

While Livestorm has headquarters in Paris, we are a remote-first company. As a matter of fact, Stormies are located between France, Germany, Greece, Mauritius, Spain, USA,... so we are looking for the best talent, no matter where you live.

Missions:

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Guiding successfully the Dashboard Squad composed of 4 Developers, a Technical Support Specialist, and a Product Manager. You will ensure that the team meets its goals and performs at the highest level.
• Guiding and supporting the Dashboard Squad from a managerial and technical stand-point. You will be responsible for hiring, coaching and retaining our top talents.
• Delivering on the quarterly Objectives and Key Results defined by the CPO and CTO. You will monitor the results and help resolve any blockers to ensure that your Team stays on track of their goals.
• Identifying with the help of your team, any improvements in our product, processes, or practices. You will take action to constantly improve the performance of the Dashboard squad.

For this Engineering Manager - Dashboard Squad role, we are looking for someone with the following experience:

• Engineering background in software development (knowledge in Ruby or Go is a bonus)
• Strong experience in people management
• Mindset of the product culture
• You are used to work in agile Teams and implement continuous improvement
• Fluency in English - (French is a bonus) 
• Background in real time technology or video streaming delivery (bonus)
• Good process and quality assurance in mitigating risk and improving quality (bonus)
• Engineering background in DevOps (CI/CD/Infra...) (bonus)
• Background in Product Management or Product Owner (bonus)
• Background in Scrum Master or Agile Coach (bonus)

Moreover, we are looking for someone who can work in the Paris timezone (we accept a time difference of 2 hours maximum).
