Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an organization’s responsibility towards the impacts of its actions and activities within its ecosystem and on society as a whole. Aware of the importance of these commitments in our operations, we try to adopt more ethical and sustainable practices each day to contribute at our level to the improvement of society at large.

CSR applies to all levels of our company. Here are some examples of our commitments that have been developed in collaboration with our employees:

We are aware that gender diversity is a strength. With this in mind, we work to provide equal opportunities for everyone.

Lengow is committed to ensuring that our recruitment process, raises, internal promotions, and trainings are done in an equal manner, especially between women and men. In 2020, Lengow received a score of 94/100 on the Gender Equality Index. In order to improve, and in consultation with the CSE, further work will be carried out each year to analyze these results and implement an action plan with the goal of achieving total equality.

    We believe it is important to give younger generations opportunities to grow professionally, because they are the future. Every year, Lengow supports many students on work-study contracts so they can discover the world of work in the best way possible. Satisfied with this first experience with Lengow, a majority of them signed a fixed-term contract with us. As everything is a question of balance, we are convinced that a variety of wisdom is essential in our team, which is why our recruitment teams are always on the lookout for candidates who are transitioning careers, often rich in experience and different backgrounds.

    Because we can all participate in our own way and help those in need, Lengow has been working for several years with the Food Bank during its annual food drive. We also organize several drives throughout the year around different causes: hygiene products for homeless people, clothes and shoes for the Emmaüs association, toy drives for Christmas, among others.

Minimizing Our Impact & Preserving the Environment

At our level, we work to protect the environment by implementing various actions on our premises: waste sorting, recycling points (batteries, light bulbs, medicine), reusable cups and mugs, organizing donation drives (clothes, shoes, high tech products for recycling, etc.). We also offer, for instance, the IkVelo transport bonus to our employees who ride bicycles, as well as maintenance equipment available on the premises (repair kits, pumps, etc.) to encourage the use of eco-friendly transportation.

E-commerce & marketing teams, brands, agencies: they work together to manage product data, automate activity on marketplaces, and optimize performance on marketing channels. With their platform, 4,600 merchants sell their products on 1,600 partner networks in more than 42 countries.Their support aims to take merchants’ business to the next level.

The more they improve their platform, the more they expand into international markets, the more they grow, the more ambition there is for Lengow to become the central platform helping every seller automate their e-commerce business and grow. Today, they are already focusing on the next 10 years and what they can bring to this ever-changing industry.
