An essential step

A successful onboarding is important for multiple reasons. We know that the first 90 days of a contract are essential for a smooth integration. It’s not rocket science, it’s just a question of common sense!

When you move into a new house without a set of keys, you can’t open the gate, the front door, or collect your mail… But if you have a set of keys and a label for each one, you’ll save a lot of time; even better when you have the opportunity to talk to the previous owner or the neighbor to get as much information as possible about the functioning of the house and the neighborhood!

Onboarding in a company is a metaphor for all this and the goal is for the new employees to quickly being feeling at home.

  • A dedicated internal tool :

    Lengow Academy is our e-learning tool that accompanies all of our employees throughout their professional career within the company.

    It is a key tool for integrating and training newcomers and allows us, if needed, to onboard them remotely, and to offer a complete and personalized and interactive training courses with information about Lengow as well as specific job duties.

    Each new Lengow employee receives their access even before the beginning of their contract to start their administrative onboarding. This way, they can step into our world and discover a tool that will accompany them throughout their professional experience at Lengow, thus placing training and skills development at the heart of the company’s HR policy.

An adventure that begins at the onboarding stage!

Many people will be involved throughout the orientation process, which should last about 2 months:

  • The HR team: responsible for the employee’s successful integration and overall monitoring of the onboarding process.

  • The training team: in charge of helping the employee get familiar with our tool, its functioning, and our ecosystem.

  • Direct manager: several regular check-ins to build a relationship if trust from the very beginning

  • A Referent (a team colleague) and a Buddy (a colleague from another team)

  • The Office Manager and Internal Communications team: to know all the ins and outs of the company.

  • A representative from each department: to meet each team and understand their missions and functioning in the company, as well as to be able to collaborate with them on future projects.
