The principle of our solution is to offer “learning by doing” by integrating personalized interactive guides directly into the applications, which allows users to be guided step by step. No need for 300 page PDFs or video tutorials !

About being an Account Executive
You will participate in the growth of Apptraktiv as an account executive and discover a courageous, demanding and respectful business approach. We have not broken down our sales approach, so you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle from the initial meeting to the closing.

Our approach is focused on efficiency and the ability to offer a solution with high added value to the customer; this approach can be considered as consultative selling. In concrete terms, you will work on contracts with large amounts of money, with C-levels in all business departments.

Your main markets will be Germany and Switzerland, but we do trade fairs abroad and as a member of the international teams you will travel to some of the countries where we are present.

Onboarding and coaching are fundamental points of our method that you will find throughout your career at Apptraktiv:

Phase 1: 0 to 3 months

  • Understand our market and the challenges of our customers
  • Learn how to make appointments
  • Master the product and the demo
  • Sign your first contracts
  • More than 120 hours of onboarding and coaching are planned during the first months

Phase 2 : 3 to 9 months

  • You sign contracts on a more regular basis
  • You are an expert on your customers’ needs and can advise them in the best way possible
  • You keep the link with the customer to guarantee the success of the projects
  • You can benefit from the advice of a sales coach

Phase 3: 9 months and more

  • You increase the turnover of several 10 K€ per month
  • You increase your autonomy and responsibility
  • You start to train new sales people
  • You bring your ideas and innovations to the sales process
  • Optional: you specialize in a specific industry or software category (CRM, ERP..)

Included in your package
Attractive fixed salary
Variable with no ceiling
Variable from the first sale and then a commission gas pedal system
3000€ of expenses included (means of transport, macbook or equivalent, telephone)

  • You speak another language fluently (English or French)

Recruitment process

We study CVs that have already had experience in sales or similar, and a certain appetite for digital. You will be tested on your ability to propose a complex solution to a high-level contact.
