Who are we looking for ?

We’re hiring a Head of People to help nurture and sustain our culture, to help everyone feel challenged and fulfilled at work, and to set us up for rapid organizational growth. We’re looking for someone who is experienced in HR and combines an ability to lead with eagerness to do the work an early-stage company needs to build a foundation for growth. This is an important role at a formative time in Kili-Technology’s evolution – the Head of People will set a tone and example that will be followed for many years to come.

You’ll work closely with the rest of the company, especially the CEO. You’ll play a critical role in moving the company to the next level.

Key responsibilities:

  • Help plot Kili-Technology’s organizational growth
  • Act as a thought partner with the founders on company culture, company growth plans, and other HR issues
  • Serve as a guardian of the company culture
  • Establish a performance management process
  • Implement relevant systems and frameworks to develop and scale a world-class HR organization, including data and metrics to drive analysis and decisions related to the people function.
  • Develop and own successful learning & development programs and create career path development programs for continued employee growth.
  • Help write the playbook for recruiting at Kili-Technology & build a staffing team to support the organization
  • Establish a framework for how we manage compensation and benefits
  • Lead inclusion and diversity and employee engagement initiatives
  • Manage employee relations and investigations within the organization
  • Ensure Kili-Technology is compliant with regulatory concerns

Preferred experience

Preferred experience:

  • Have 8+ years experience as an HR professional at startups or tech companies
  • Have experienced life inside a high-growth company and understand its unusual needs
  • Are strong in employee relations, recruiting, compensation, performance management, benefits, training and development, and on-boarding
  • Are an excellent partner to leaders of all levels. You understand when to teach vs. guide and enjoy developing authentic relationships with your colleagues.
  • Are a champion of culture. You value the challenge of defining and growing culture.
  • You’re eager to solve complex people problems and love building things from scratch.
  • Have strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Have a solid understanding of HR compliance and regulations
