Job description

The product manager is the person that will fully take responsibility for the vision of the tech product, its usability, conversion rate optimization, planning, implementation, etc.
The product manager is the general manager of the product if you prefer, this person has all the responsibilities for the product’s success.
We expect this person to be in the shoes of the users, understand what their pain points are and how we can create features to help them or simply improve the existing interface. The product owner will be the key interaction person between the developers and the team to clarify and lay down on paper their needs so that it’s fully intelligible for the tech team. This also includes testing, customer surveys/interviews and prioritization.

What are the outcomes that must be accomplished?

  1. Create and maintain our product roadmap in line with OKR’s
  2. Build a product strategy and vision for the long term (goal of product, customer profile, competitive advantage, etc.)
  3. Product prioritization and problem solving: ensuring the right trade-offs, data and customer driven decision making, etc.)
  4. Execution, resources and removal of obstace: push back unnecessary features, free resources at the right time, adding the right features when necessary
  5. Communication and coordination: communicate team status, progress and obstacles, clarify decision underlying assumptions and reasoning,
  6. Connect with users, partners and other stakeholders to identify their needs and translate those into features that drive our growth

Preferred experience

Product taste: insights and intuition to understand customer needs, identify the wow product features that really make a difference for the user.

  • Ability to prioritize: understands value of features vs. engineering cost behind it, capable of deciding between different product development at a fast pace.

  • Ability to execute: coaching skills and strong devotion to maintaining speed of delivery,

  • Technical knowledge and PM experience: knowledge of product management in general and experience in the field.

  • Top communication skills: strong interpersonal skills to navigate between the different teams, understand sensibilities and clarify trade-offs.

  • Analytical and structure: makes measurements a top priority, capable of analysing the needs of our customers, data driven.
