Jus Mundi is looking for US Sales Director based on the East Coast

Position Overview

📌 The Department: Sales

The Sales Team at Jus Mundi comprises over 15 people from different countries and cultures, united by a common goal of powering global justice and transforming the legal industry with cutting-edge AI solutions. We work with top-tier law firms, corporates, governements and universities in over 80 countries, from Chile to Japan and from Norway to South Africa. 💙

The US Sales team is currently composed of 3 people: an account executive, an account manager and a sales development representative. We expect to grow this team significantly in the coming months and years.

📌 The Role: US Sales Director

As the US Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading our US Sales Team and driving sales growth in the market.

The US is our strongest market since our creation in 2019. We count among our clients 40**% of top100 US law firms, including DLA Piper, Hogan Lovells and Kirkland & Ellis**, as well as a federal government department. We also partner with AAA-ICDR, the most prominent US arbitral institution.

Your role will involve developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing a high-performing sales team, and building strong relationships with key clients in the legal industry.

📌 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the US sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales objectives.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions. As part of your onboarding, you will handle a few US Key Accounts.

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.

  • Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.

  • Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing and Customer Support to align strategies and ensure seamless execution.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Law, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is often preferred

  • Proven experience in a senior sales role, preferably within the legal tech or broader technology or legal sector.

  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a high-performing sales team.

  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills: Ability to inspire and lead a sales team to achieve ambitious goals.

  • Strategic thinking: Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

  • Analytical skills: Proficient in analyzing sales metrics and making data-driven decisions.

  • Results-oriented: Focused on achieving measurable outcomes and driving business growth.

  • Adaptable and flexible: Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and international environment.

  • Customer-focused: Committed to understanding and meeting the needs of clients.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills: Proficient in building relationships with key stakeholders and clients.

Other Requirements

  • Willingness to travel: the role requires travel in the US to meet with clients and attend industry events and to our HQ in Paris to meet the entire sales team
