Job description

JOW is looking for a Digital Designer (confirmé) to support our design, marketing, and Food teams on creating engaging, visually appealing, and on-brand content for a variety of campaigns and channels. You’ll be an integral part of the JOW Studio, working alongside a Creative Lead, Motion Designer, Graphic Designer, and Content Creator. This is a very high impact role as you’ll be bringing our global rebrand to life and creating assets for our upcoming launch in the United States. Needless to say, your work will be seen (and loved!) by many around the world

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to produce high-impact designs that bring our new brand design system and value propositions to life
  • Design for a variety of marketing and communication projects across multiple formats, including web, mobile, print, television and video.
  • Participate and contribute in brainstorms, meetings, and presentations. Present and communicate design concepts strategically.
  • Assist the food and content team with video and photo shoots when necessary

Preferred experience

Ideal profile:

  • You’re a highly creative visual storyteller.
  • You have 4-6 years of professional experience in a similar role and have a portfolio containing examples of your work.
  • You have working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite programs, Figma, and Webflow.
  • You have the fundamentals nailed (visual hierarchy, layout, typography, grid, and colour) and functional knowledge of production for print, video, web and mobile.
  • Dynamic - you’re efficient and process and system-oriented. You’re scrappy when the situation requires, but you always bring pixel-perfect designs to the finish line.
  • A team player! You’re collaborative and humble. You share your successes and give and take feedback gracefully.
  • You’re based in the Paris area and are proficient in English (French is a bonus!)

Applications without portfolios will not be considered

Recruitment process

  • Call with a member of the studio, to see if the stars are aligned
  • Short design homework
  • 2 to 3 more formal/classic interviews with the team
  • Coffee with the Jow team: we want you to be happy to see our teammates every morning, so one of the very first things we check for is cultural fit.
We have a “no brilliant jerks” rule! Being nice, cool and humble is as mandatory as being good at what you do ;-)
