Your mission

We ingest multiple millions of transactions per day. We enrich transaction data with other sources of merchant information such as social networks data. This data is then transformed and crunched to be used by our customers and everybody throughout the company, whether it is BI analysis, data science research (clustering and optimization), customer reporting or invoicing. Our Data Team is responsible for building a scalable and robust platform that handles all data acquisition, storage, processing, aggregation, as well as external access through dedicated APIs. The team is also responsible for building the data science models underpinning existing and future product features. As a core member of this team, you will design, implement, and continuously improve elements of the data platform and analysis pipeline.

What you’ll do

● Build an effective data infrastructure that will generate insights for analytics
● Design, develop, deploy and maintain new features for the data platform
● Propose and develop innovative solutions to achieve the best levels of quality, scalability and
performance of our engine
● Research, prototype, and brainstorm with other team members and find ways to improve existing
systems

About you

● Master degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study
● 3+ years of software development in an open source environment
● Familiar with big data technologies (Scala, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, NoSQL)
● Experience in cloud environment

● Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
● Passion for playing with large volume of data
● Proven Experience with auto scaling microservices
● Personal projects with code sharing
● Data science experience
