Job description

As a part of the marketing team reporting directly to our Head of Marketing, you will be in charge of Invoxia’s presence in North America as well as contribute to our international growth.

  • Manage Invoxia’s North American marketing strategy and coordinate content creation, affiliate and influencer relationships, develop brand partnerships, and shape the company’s presence, voice, and image in the United States;
  • Ensure coherence across Invoxia’s English-language communications (website, blog, product documentation, press releases, etc.) adapting where necessary the tone, vocabulary and approach to ensure a better local fit.
  • Coordinate with product development, customer service, and logistics teams on new features and product launches — and more generally, on projects to improve customer outcomes in the United States.
  • Be an enthusiastic brand spokesperson and contribute to the organization of Invoxia’s presence at trade shows and other events in France and abroad (ex. CES Las Vegas).
  • Develop content for social media, blogs, email and the company website in collaboration with the in-house design team and external resources (writers, translators, content creators, etc.).
  • In collaboration with the e-commerce manager, optimize brand presence and product ranking on platforms like Amazon. Identify opportunities for improvement and regularly implement A/B tests.
  • Stay up to date with relevant news, technological developments, and marketing trends. Regularly benchmark market positioning, communication and pricing strategies. Keep tabs on social media for product and/or brand mentions and testimonials.
  • Manage Invoxia’s relationship with external PR agencies and occasionally deal with journalists directly.

Preferred experience

We’re looking for someone who…

  • Is an English native speaker (preferably US) — French proficiency is a bonus
  • Has a degree and/or prior experience in B2C marketing/communications/sales
  • Is experienced working in the United States or with US consumers (you understand the American mindset and customer mentality)
  • Has an appetite for technology. We don’t expect you to be an expert, but you need to be comfortable distilling complex concepts into easy to digest soundbites. If you have experience or knowledge about IoT, consumer electronics or other, that’s a plus.

  • Data driven — You know how to derive insights from data and have experience running A/B tests and optimizing for higher social media engagement rates, email open rates and improved product ratings.
